Dance with me...
Dance with me... was an interactive installation in which a silent dance party took place on the front plaza of the Museum of Contemporary Art (in Chicago) during that year's summer solstice events. Every year I was consistently shocked to see the thousands of people lined up around the block of the museum waiting to get in for this event. To capitalize on the club/gallery atmosphere of people-watchers (from art-lovers to scenesters), I created an outdoor club installation complete with velvet ropes and glow rope in which a DJ spun a transmission to fifty wireless headsets that audience members put on and danced to.
